Thank you for the assistance, it's greatly appreciated! ***************** Main Activity.
I have downloaded the latest BIOS software as well as new drivers for the audio & keyboard which fixed the problem momentarily, but then after a couple of hours they just stopped working again. I hear the sound it's been clicked, but it never changes status or pauses the audio. Some of the F keys on my laptop aren't working - it's the three that are supposed to skpi back forward & toggle pause/play. Fix this music streaming problem using these methods. I can hear the MP3 when I first start debugging, and the button will also change from play to pause, however, it is unresponsive to any clicking. Users joining Spotify Group Sessions experience issues with no sound or the feature not working at all.
The class is a bit older, and uses an older version of Android Studio from 2 years ago, so this might be part of the problem. I'm new to Android studio, and know/understand very little. I can provide pictures if necessary though.I'm following an Udemy class on making a MP3 player like Spotify.
So, what I'm trying to say is, is it possible that somehow Windows doesn't recognize YTM Desktop as a media player? (which is why it doesn't show the pop-up window (I'm not sure if I am telling it correctly as I'm neither good with programming nor my native language is English but I think you get what I mean. I also had them when I was using YT Music Chrome extension / app or other music players when I had them, such as Spotify or some other radio programs I use sometimes, but not when I use YTM Desktop. It's been this way since I've had the laptop and it doesn't seem to have any effect on music or audio playing be it on Spotify, Groove Music. It's only the Playing/Pausing music and skipping tracks that doesn't work using the buttons. I noticed that I was getting the pop up window with basic media control buttons with a vertical sound bar displayed on the upper left side of the screen when trying Groove out. the F3, F4, F5 buttons) do seem to work when I hold down the Fn key. Also they work for Groove Music as well so I suppose they are going to work fine with other programs as well. When I was looking for a solution and started reading answers here I thought I wasn't going to be able to solve it but thankfully it was SetPoint and I commented out the media keys section, not including the volume controls and it started working fine as soon as I restarted SetPoint. I have a K330 keyboard and M545 mouse, thus I have both SetPoint for my keyboard and Options for my mouse installed. Select the Queue icon to view your queued songs. In the right area of the mini-player, you can select the Lyrics option to view the current song’s lyrics. There’s also an Enable repeat button to play the current music track in a loop. I had the same problem and I managed to solve it with the workaround provided there and actually the file name was the same as mentioned there "2001001" Then, you have the standard previous, play/pause, and next buttons.
Wondering if the latest update broke that. All the other keys still work, its just play/pause with Spotify. Some people want the top row to be F1-F12 by default some people want it the other way. The location of the XML files is different with the new "Options" software but it was easy enough to find them, but unfortunately it didn't work. .or album I was listening to (whether on my iPhone, Mac, or Sonos), Spotify would pause every song or two, and I’d have to tap Play for it to continue. If you press the Fn Key and CapsLock at the same time, it toggles the top row between the two modes. I tried working through this and editing the XML file to remove the "play pause" hotkey as they suggested, but it didn't work. There is this thread that shows some troubleshooting they did with older Logitech "SetPoint" software: Other projects have run into this as well, in particular the GPMDP project, and they somehow got it working. Great to confirm that the issue is not the hardware but the software.
